Omaha is the 43rd largest city in America and way back in the 1850’s the African Americans settled here due to the industrialization of the city which meant that job openings in the railroads and meat packing industries were in plenty. As a result there were cases of disputes between employers and employees and this facilitated the need to have a profession that addressed these many disputes. As such the civil lawyers in Omaha started to graduate and take up active representation in the city.
